Saturday afternoon Jeanie & I co-hosted a baby shower for our friend Shannon and Lucas. S + L are not finding out the sex of the baby (I’m pulling for a girl although the census is boy) so we did a green/brown theme (which is perfect because that’s sorta the colors they are sticking with for the nursery).

Some detail shots (the favors were Bath & Body Work hand sanitizer because you want to have clean hands when visiting a new baby!)

A quick post from my session with Heather and Ralph who are expecting their first child. Heather has the cutest bump I think I’ve ever seen, don’t you think? I have some more photos I want to share of this session, but first a small sneak peek.

There is something beautiful and special about a pregnant woman. I love getting to spend a day documenting this wonderful time in a their lives. I met up with this gorgeous mother-to-be in Hoboken on Sunday afternoon. And there is no doubt she is going to be a wonderful mother to this little one. She has some major self-control as she is the only person that knows the sex of the child! Her husband didn’t want to find out but she was interested. I’m impressed that she has kept it in all this time! Mara enjoy your sneak peek.

Last weekend I attended Amy’s baby shower. She is having a girl (if you can’t tell by the color scheme) and I cannot be more excited for her! We are going to do a newborn session for sure, and hopefully maternity if it works out. Her husband works at Lawrenceville School and some fellow spouses threw the shower for her. It was a perfect day filled with love, laughter, and friends. Those mini cupcakes, yeah they were homemade by one of the hostesses and they were a-mazing.

I met up with this sweet couple on a very windy day in central New Jersey. It actually reminded me of Oklahoma! They are anxiously awaiting their first child, a girl, in May. I’m pretty sure she’s gonna have the coolest accent, with a father from New Zealand and a mother from NY. Dad did a wonderful job playing photographer’s assistant making sure Jennifer’s clothes were just right, getting a step ladder, moving anything I asked. Thanks Jamie for that! I am blogging early this morning while watching snow fall in NJ on the first day of spring. Truth be told, I don’t like seeing the snow out there. We had a little taste of warm weather this week and I’ve got spring fever B.A.D.!

This past Sunday I drove up to see Elisha and her husband. They are excitedly expecting their first child, a baby boy, in the early part of April. Without further ado – I present Elisha and baby D.
