Sarafina and Larry tied the knot this past Saturday in Highland Park, New Jersey at St. Paul Catholic Church. The weather was perfect for this fall wedding without a cloud in the sky. Everyone was gorgeous and these two know how to throw a party.

This morning I had the privileged to photograph this beautiful family at their home. It was rather chilly when we went outside, but they were brave souls. Thanks JoAnn & Michael for allowing me into your home.

Sharing one quick photo from this morning. You may notice her from a session I had with her family a few weeks ago. We spent some time together this morning to capture her as a few days shy of 9 months. This was taken with the 85L lens that I’m renting this week and I’m in love with it. I think this is the one I’ll be purchasing in a few weeks!

1. I rented two lenses for a wedding I’m shooting next Saturday and I’m in total LOVE with both of them! They are two lenses that I’m vacillating on purchasing which is going to make it that much harder to send back when I’m finished with them! I’m excited to have them in my arsenal for the wedding too!

2. I’m an avid book reader and am in need of some great book recommendations. If you have any, please let me know (you can check out what I’ve already read at goodreads).

3. Thanksgiving is this week – oh.my.goodness! I am totally in denial that winter is coming and Christmas is right around the corner. Where on earth did the time go? I think after we put up the tree I will get more into the spirit. Right?

There is something beautiful and special about a pregnant woman. I love getting to spend a day documenting this wonderful time in a their lives. I met up with this gorgeous mother-to-be in Hoboken on Sunday afternoon. And there is no doubt she is going to be a wonderful mother to this little one. She has some major self-control as she is the only person that knows the sex of the child! Her husband didn’t want to find out but she was interested. I’m impressed that she has kept it in all this time! Mara enjoy your sneak peek.
